Visit the Denver Zoo

The Denver Zoo is the place to visit for any animal lover! There are over 1,500 animals and 100 different species in their zoo. You can spend hours walking through exhibits including African Savannah, Grizzly Ridge, Northern Shores, and Primate Panorama. Admission includes free train rides on the zoo train.  It takes about 3-4 hours to go through all of the exhibits so make sure you pack a picnic or lunch will be provided by one of the many concessions located at multiple areas throughout the park.

Visit Downtown Aquarium

The Downtown Aquarium offers an experience like no other aquarium in Denver! Enjoy special presentations every hour from trained staff members who love passing on their knowledge of these beautiful ocean creatures. There are multiple hands-on exhibits throughout the aquarium to keep everyone entertained. You can touch starfish, feed tropical fish and sea urchins. They have a beautiful shark habitat where you can walk under the water and enjoy the view of these amazing creatures!

Visit Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater

Red Rocks Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Denver, Colorado! It is located near Morrison and has incredible natural rock formations that were created millions of years ago by layers of sedimentary deposits with horizontal fracturing which makes it not only a great place for concerts and events but also provides an incredibly unique backdrop for picture taking. This is definitely something you do not want to miss while visiting Denver!

Tour a Microbrewery

There are many microbreweries in Denver that offer tours. You have the opportunity to see and learn how the beer is made from start to finish. Each one has its own unique experience so you can tour multiple breweries during your stay here! Some of our favorites include Great Divide Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing, Odell Brewing Co., Breckenridge Brewery, and Avery Brewing Co.  This is a great way for visitors to truly enjoy what Colorado offers!!

Go Wine Tasting at Infinite Monkey Theorem

Infinite Monkey Theorem is located in LoHi (Lower Highlands) which offers a great taste of what old-world wine country is all about! They offer vineyard tours to teach you about the process of winemaking and you can join them every Thursday night for live music under the stars in the tasting room or outdoor patio during the summer!
